Company successes and awards
Tettenhall Operatic Company has been entertaining audiences with concerts and performances of operas and operettas for over 40 years. Previous shows have included Die Fledermaus, The Magic Flute, Carmen and The Merry Widow as well as a number of highly successful revivals of lesser known operettas. Recently these have included Goodnight Vienna (2015), The White Horse Inn (2016) and Gilbert and Sullivan's The Grand Duke (2019) which were all very popular with our audiences and extremely well received.
The 2007 production of A Gypsy Princess was nominated for a ‘best show’ award by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA).
In 2018 we were proud to be the first recipient of a NODA special award for the type and quality of shows we have been doing over the years.
In 2019 we were winners of the NODA Best Concert (District 7) for our concert performance of Die Fledermaus.
In 2022 we have been nominated again for a NODA special award.
