I remember (ladies only)
We wish you a merry Christmas
John Fowell and Peter Smith (guesting from his new home in Cornwall) will be performing two 2 piano items: L'Embarquement pour Cythera (Poulenc) and Malaguena (Lecuona).
There will be various solos and duets of a serious and whimsical nature sung by Sue and Mike Rawlings, Geoff Silk, Sheila Smith (guesting from her new home in Cornwall), Jane Souter, Barbara Smith, Julian Souter and Peter Smith (Flanders and Swann), Lydia Goodall (last year's Bursarian now at the Birmingham Conservatoire) - with seasonal readings from Ken Wootton and Anne Woolley.
The audience will be invited to sing along to a couple of traditional Christmas carols.
It promises to be a great concert (and tickets are selling fast!).
